2026 MARCH FOR LIFE
Washington, D.C.
The 2026 March for Life activities will take place on Friday, January 23, to mark the 53rd anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade abortion decision and to celebrate its being partially overturned in 2022. Though the Court returned the issue to the people through Congress and the states, the Court did not touch the most important issue of Roe v. Wade - concerning the personhood of the unborn. The March for Life is the largest annual pro-life gathering in the world. For more information regarding the March for Life and related events in Washington, D.C., go to www.marchforlife.org. Help make March for Life 2026 in Washington, D.C. the largest ever!

March for Life Pilgrimage with Bishop Reidy
Join Bishop Richard Reidy of the Norwich Diocese by peacefully and joyfully witnessing to the sanctity of all human life, and the beauty and dignity of every human person. We begin with a Mass for the legal protection of unborn children at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Norwich on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 7:30 PM (Everyone is welcome to attend). We travel overnight via deluxe motorcoach and in the morning attend the National Prayer For Life Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. Our next leg leads us to the National Mall, with a little free time to visit the Smithsonian Museums if desired (see the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, & Bill of Rights, for our nation’s 250th birthday!), followed by the March For Life rally with national pro-life speakers, clergy and politicians speaking on the defense of the unborn and the upholding of their legal and constitutional rights. Then we participate in the largest, peaceful pro-life demonstration in the world with hundreds of thousands marching up Constitutional Avenue for life, passing Congress and ending at the Supreme Court. And in this 24 hr.+ sacrifice, we bond together to help rebuild a ‘Civilization of Life and Love’ in our country, praying for an end to abortion, and the change of hearts. Cost is $55, graciously subsidized by our diocesan Knights of Columbus councils, parish guilds, and caring individuals. For further information and to register, please call the Office of Evangelization & Discipleship Ministry at 860-848-2237 ext. 304, or email atejada@norwichdiocese.net.
